Yamaha Resistor Bypass Harness For Any Motodynamic Sequential LED Tail Light
This harness is used for motorcycles that have upgraded their flasher relay to an LED flasher relay. It is used to connect the turn signals in the tail light and bypass the resistors in the standard sub-harness that comes shipped with all Motodynamic tail lights. Plug and play with no modifications!
Q: I have upgraded my flasher relay to an LED flasher relay because I installed LED turn signals up front and wanted to maintain the factory flash rate. Why would I want to bypass the resistors in the standard subharness for the Motodynamic's LED tail lights?
A: The resistors that are built into the subharness get hot when the turn signals are activated so they generate a good amount of heat. You can alleviate this heat by bypassing the resistors. These resistors are also bulky and take up valuable trunk/space.
